Housing

Single family housing grew dynamically in the first half of this decade.  Between 2002 and 2005 single family housing in Little Elm grew at the rate at over 1000 units per year.  In 2009, Little Elm had 7,654 single family units with an average value of $154,516. Number of single family building permits rose slightly in 2009.

Within the current town limits, the community is 74% developed. Including the ETJ (Extra Territorial Jurisdiction) the Town will grow to include 70,478 people.
